Blackpool Children's University

For a number of years we have been offering the children, the benefits of the Children's University and the take up seems to grow each year.

The scheme recognises that children don't just learn at school but learn at home, in the pool, at football coaching and in many more situations.

We therefore ask the children who take part in the scheme to keep a check of how many hours they spend learning away from school and at the end of the year we have a graduation where this learning is celebrated. The children get to dress up in cap and gown and proud parents join us for a celebration of learning.
